

New Year's Eve at the Lodge promises to be a spectacular affair! Exalted Ruler Joe Rodriguez and his First Lady, Sheila, have pulled out all the stops in lining up fantastic entertainment, amazing decor and an fantastic menu for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve BLACK & WHITE BALL.
Featured entertainer for the evening will be Melanie Andrews and her Soulmate Band. Andrews is an award-winning, multi-platinum songwriter/vocal producer/ publisher with a distinguished career spanning decades. She is best known for co-writing the song, Let’s Wait Awhile (Janet Jackson’s “Control Album”) and singing the background vocals with Janet on her many of her #1 hit singles. One of her favorite projects was co-writing three songs for the legendary band, Earth Wind & Fire. Melanie is the granddaughter of world-renowned NEA winner/ jazz legend, Snooky Young, who taught her the beauty of speaking through music.
The evening starts at 6:00 pm with social hour and appetizers including hand passed tempura shrimp and watermelon cubes with blue cheese plus an appetizer station with baked brie and lamb chops. The dinner service features your choice of 8 oz. filet center cut with scalloped potatoes and carrots, Alaskan halibut with citrus butter, scalloped potatoes and carrots, or a vegan option of butternut squash ravioli with roasted tomatoes and carrots. Top it off with a chocolate parfait for dessert. And of course, a champagne toast at midnight (New York time) and a DJ to keep you on your feet.
